1. Cheaper than the tool it replaces.
2. On a smaller scale than the one it replaces.
3. Does work that is better.
4. Uses less energy than the one it replaces.
5. Possibly uses solar energy.
6. Repairable by a person of average intelligence who has the proper tools.
7. Purchased locally.
8. Sold by a small private shop who will take it back.
9. Not replacing anything good.
